OBITUARY

Mildred (Millie) C. Malcom was born in Monroe, Georgia on September 9, 1930.  Millie was born to James D. and Alma W. Allen, who have preceded her in death. Millie was married to Drew W. Malcom, who preceded her in death.  She is survived by her sister, Theresa A. Cown and her husband John, niece, Jennifer Griffith and her husband, Jeff and their family, great nephew, John (JT) Brannon and his fiancée, Natalie Taylor, and a number of cousins.  

Millie showed unconditional love and kindness to all her friends and family. Millie loved cooking for others especially when it came to the family Christmas parties. She was a very devoted Christian and she always looked forward to Sunday service at Union Chapel where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school class. 

She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, laughter, and heartfelt moments and though our hearts ache in the loss of such an amazing soul, we find solace in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the God she so deeply loved and with the Angels she so longed to see. Her life was a blessing, her influence everlasting, and her spirit unforgettable. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 10th at Meadows Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Union Chapel Methodist Church.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. Is in charge of arrangements.
