Deepest deepest condolences to Tracy and the girls, to Adrian, Carolyn and Greg. I know the pain and sorrow you feel today, but having lived through my wife Ellen‘s similar illness for a number of years until her passing a little over a year ago, I can just assure you there is a better place for us all to be one day and Mark will be there waiting for you all at the golden doors of heaven. Mark has been dropped his robe of clay to put his shining garments on. He has not wanted far away. He has not lost nor gone forever near us though, unseen, the dear , enduring spirits tread, for all the balance universe is life,THERE ARE NO DEAD

We are heartbroken to hear this news. BJ and I both have fond memories of Mark (and Tracy) at Loganville High School and both the Cown and Carter families at LFBC. Praying for the family during this difficult time.

I have known the Cown family for most of my life. I know they love Jesus and I know that will help them at this time to have peace, knowing Mark has now been made perfect again and is in his eternal home with Melvin. Mark was a good friend of mine for many years. Our families attended the old Loganville Baptist Church together back in the 70’s and early 80’s. I played varsity football with Mark. After graduation we continued our friendship for several years. Eventually, we each got married and went our separate ways. I lost contact with Mark over the past few years, but have many great memories. My heart goes out to the Cown and Carter families. Mark will be greatly missed.
