Mandy, what a sweet soul you are I had a pleasure of working along the side with you in the emergency room at Piedmont and then again working along the side with you at NGHS just a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of walking into work with you and sharing our everyday chaos of being a mom and nurse and everything else that comes in between. You were such a bright light to everyone that you met. And you had so much care and love in your heart. You truly loved our jobs at Nursing and we’ve shared a lot of stories about Nursing and how much it takes out of us and how much we pour into it and still keep going. You’re definitely a dedicated wonderful nurse as well as being a dedicated loyal fun and faithful friend I will miss our conversations and your hugs every time I would see you at the start of our shift! You would even come down to say hi to me on the night where we didn’t have so much to do. I will miss your sweet smile and you popping your head in to say hey just because I was downstairs and you were upstairs! You would come wave at me and I would come hug your neck and that’s all that was needed in our friendship on some days. Just know that we were there for each other. If we needed I will miss you dearly and I will pray for your boys and I have shed so many tears over the loss of your precious life and your mothers but know that I love you, dear friend and it was such a pleasure and honor to work along the side of you in the emergency room at Piedmont and just down the hall at NGHS! Your spirit will live on with me and I’ll cherish the time we had together and the moments that we shared interacting about our jobs and family and just about other chaotic things in our life I love you, sweet friend and I will meet you further up the road! For this is not a goodbye this is I will see you later. Much love.
