Friends & Relatives

I only met him once but his son is one of the best people I’ve ever met. And after meeting Larry I saw that it’s true. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Praying for the family.

I remember the very first time I saw Larry on New Year's Eve in 2004. He walked in the door to a party our church was having and I invited him to sit with my wife, Mary Lou and me. A few months later, he and Melinda, his wonderful wife, along with us and some other friends from church took a tour of Israel, our first. Larry and I got to know each other and became very good friends. We have missed him and will miss him for awhile longer, but look so forward to visiting with him again.

Buddy, I greatly appreciate all you've done for your Dad. Rest in the knowledge that he is healthy and happy again. God bless you and the whole Granger Family.

To be honorable means to live by a strong moral code, demonstrating integrity, honesty, fairness, and courage to do what's right, even when difficult, by treating others with dignity, keeping promises, and acting in ways that earn respect. It involves consistency between one's beliefs and actions, reflecting a principled character through acts of kindness, responsibility, and upright conduct, without deceit or self-interest. Larry was a shining example to the men around him. I remember him for his affirmation and encouragement in my life. My condolences to his family.
