We’re praying for the family. Holly was a beautiful Christian lady. She always had a prayer on her lips for her family and friends. I’ll miss my prayer warrior.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Holly last Saturday. I want to express my sincere condolences to her family. As first cousins who always lived in Walton or Barrow counties we grew up together, I am a few years older and joined the Marine Corps out of high school and ended up in California, so we didn't really get to spend a lot of time together as adults. My mother. Maggie Palmer, lived in Monroe until she passed on New Years Eve, 2022 and she and Holly stayed in touch, she loved Holly, and I know Holly loved her and for that I am grateful. Over the years as I would visit my mom several times a year, Holly would often come over to visit while I was there. We often spoke of our churches and how God was at work, so I am certain that she is with Jesus right now. I got to be closer to Terry and Harriet because of how much they loved and cared for my mom in her final years, and I got to know Bryan a little over the past few years, unfortunately I didn't have a chance to really know the rest of Holly's family except in hearing how much she loved her grandkids. It's clear from the messages posted on FB that she was beloved by all of her offspring and siblings.
I know that there are no real words to ease you pain of loss at this time, but I will leave you with these words from Paul to the church in Corinth.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over in to our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

These are the words of the Lord, praise be to God!
