Richard and I have fond memories of Mike in high school when we were lowly sophomores and he was a mighty senior. His mom was our math teacher.
A highlight of my teaching career at Athens Tech was when I was so humbled and honored at the Chamber of Commerce meeting when Mike presented me with the JL McGarity Award in 2012. He will be remembered for his dedication to family and community. Prayers for all the family.
