Mary Jean and Tom were dear friends of my parents and grandparents who knew each other as children. Mary Jean and all the Barnes and Anderson families have beautiful smiles. Her’s was genuine and welcoming. Rejoice and know she will be with Jesus and all her dear family and friends long past.

We didn't know Mrs. Barnes had passed away until looking at Meadows Funeral home, and we are so sorry for the loss. We didn't take advantage of the time there was available to talk much, but she was a very nice lady from the interactions we did have. We knew of her love for animals which included feeding our cats whenever they'd try to double dip and get food beyond home! She was a great neighbor and we will miss her.
