OBITUARY

Daniel Walter Bradley, age 85 of Dacula, passed away in the early morning hours of August 27, 2026, having spent the prior day with his loving wife, Bonnie, and his children. Danny was born in Monroe, Georgia on June 20, 1941 to the late Ernest Walter Bradley and the late Hazel Dickens Bradley. 

Danny graduated from Monroe Area High School, where he played football, and later graduated from the University of Georgia. He had a lifelong love of farming and animals, as well as hunting. Danny was an avid fan of Braves baseball and UGA football. For 25 years, he shared his love of farming and animals with his community as a hobby goat farmer, becoming locally known and fondly remembered as the “Goat Man.” 

Surviving members of Danny’s family are his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Thomen Bradley; daughters, Tammy Moore (Phil), Dana Sweeney (Jim), Danielle Durgin (Greg); son, Tom Bradley (Lauren); sister, Jane Carson; brother, Gary Bradley (Teresa); and fourteen grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Meadows Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on the same day at 2:30 PM at Bradley Cemetery in Monroe, Georgia.
