OBITUARY

In Loving Memory of Steve Michael Casper

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steve Michael Casper, who left us on July 13, 2026, at the age of 73.

A life isn’t measured by the years we live, but by the lives we touch.

Steve was an amazing husband, a devoted father, a loyal friend, and above all, a man who loved the Lord. He led with quiet strength, unwavering faith, and a heart full of love. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the kindness he showed, and the countless memories he gave to those who were blessed to know him.

Though we grieve his absence, we rejoice in knowing that his journey did not end here. Because of his faith, we have the hope of seeing him again. He may no longer walk beside us, but his love, his example, and his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

He may be gone from our sight, but he will never be forgotten.

Steve was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Rose Marie Casper, with whom he shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. He dedicated more than 40 years of his career as a truck driver before his well-earned retirement, where his strong work ethic and friendly nature earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Born to the late Bobby Joe and Doris McElwaney Casper, Steve carried their legacy of love and integrity throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Joe Casper.

Steve’s greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind his adoring daughters, Tina Vrba (Don) and Crystal Escalante; his cherished grandchildren, Meghan Goodrich (Nick), Alleeyah Casper (Zackery Edwards), and Jordyn Vrba; and his precious great-grandchildren, Jackson, Blaire, and Ellie, who brought immense light to his later years.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Steve’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Mitchell officiating.

Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of a life beautifully lived.
