OBITUARY

Mrs. Brenda (Richardson) Davis, age 79 of Good Hope, passed away on June 12, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.  Brenda was born in Morgan County, Georgia, on October 29, 1946, to Usher Richardson and the late Dorothy Mitchem Richardson.  Preceding her in death is her husband, James Marvin Davis, Sr.; son, Marvin Davis, Jr.; granddaughter, Brooke Yarter; sister, Janice Richardson. 

Surviving members of the family are, daughter, Stephanie Yarter (Jay); father, Usher Richardson; brother, Lee Richardson; grandson, Blake Yarter (Kaitlyn); great-grandchildren, Makenna Yarter, Mckayla Yarter, Bryce Yarter; several nieces and one nephew.  

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Meadows Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on the same day at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Conner officiating.  Interment will be at Hill Haven Memory Gardens and Mausoleum.
