OBITUARY

Shirley Ann (Fowler) Lee, age 87 of Monroe, passed away on May 30, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born in Chicopee, Georgia on March 5, 1939 to the late Louie Cecil Fowler and the late Helen Tanner Fowler. 

Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Mazyck-Perry; brother, Butch Fowler; sisters, Elaine Mitchell and Martha Orr. 

Surviving members of her family are her husband of 69 years, Jerry Lee; daughters, Debbie Zink, Gerrie Bradford, Katherine Smith; sister, Juanita Fortune; brother, W.E. Fowler; grandchildren, Ben Zink, Nicole Dillman, Kaybi Mathieu, Brooke Keeter, Lacey Mazyck, Amber Landers, Lance Smith; and nine great grandchildren. 

A committal service to lay Shirley to rest will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.
