OBITUARY

Barry Neil Stone, age 75 of Monroe, passed away on May 8, 2026 with his loving wife by his side. Barry was born on April 23, 1951 in Florida to the late William Gene Stone and Margaret Bennet Stone. 

Surviving members of Mr. Stone’s family are his wife, Sharyn Stone; daughters, Sarah Ahern (Ed), Amy Houston (Justin); sisters, Sharon Brown and Lisa Young; brother, Mike Stone; three grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 14th, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Baggett officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Meadows Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to The Cancer Foundation because they provided financial support for Mr. Stone’s care on more than one occasion. https://cancerfoundationofnega.org/
