OBITUARY

Jerry Felton Bowden, age 91, of Crawfordville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. He was born in Georgia, on February 22, 1935, to the late Vira Anthony and the late Felton Estes Bowden.

Those preceding Jerry in death include his wife, Jackie Thomas; son, Russell Bowden; brothers, Tony Bowden, Don Bowden, Jon Bowden.

Jerry enjoyed time with his family (including Blue). He kept those around him laughing. He enjoyed working his cattle and resting in the warm sunlight. 

He leaves behind his daughter, Robbin Hill (Brandon); son, Ronnie Bowden (Carol); 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Sue Malcom (Harold); several beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at Sewell Church, at 11:30am, on Thursday, April 9, 2026, with Pastor Larry Clayton officiating. A private interment will follow.
