OBITUARY

John “Johnny” Andrew Worley, Jr., age 73, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, on July 15, 1952, to the late Jessie Mae Johns and the late John Andrew Worley, Sr.

Those preceding Johnny in death include his parents and his siblings: Leonard Brown, Ruth Swords, Jimmy Brown, and Butch Brown.

Johnny leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia Potts Worley; sons, Shane Worley, Brian Worley; grandchildren, Madison Stidham (David), Brooklyn Worley, Peyton Elizabeth Worley, Ryland Worley; great grandchildren, Brady, Sutton, Scarlett, Blair; nephew, Carlton “Doodle” Swords; a host of extended family and in-laws.

Services for Johnny will take place from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Mt. Vernon Christian Church.
