OBITUARY

  Jason Michael Bivings, 42, was born in Atlanta, GA on September, 23, 1983, and passed away November 4, 2025.

  Jason was energetic, fearlessly adventurous, and soft at heart. He tried many trades during his lifetime, but found solace and pride in working outdoors, where he shone as a skilled landscape technician. Fiercely athletic, Jason enjoyed playing sports, riding his dirt bike, weightlifting, and running. He loved building with his hands and completed many home construction projects for friends and family.

  Jason lived with substance abuse disorder for much of his life; however, it never dimmed his light. He was generous with his laughter, and his smile was contagious. He freely offered words of affirmation, and his intention was always to please those he loved.

  Jason is survived by his son, Lucas Strozier; his mother, Catherine Lynn Page, his step-father, Troy Page; his father, John Rodney Bivings; his sisters, Cheryl Sturgeon and Sarah Page; his brother-in-law, John Sturgeon; Sarah’s fiancé, Phillip Henry; and his nieces and nephews, Victoria Green, Kylee Sturgeon, Tegan Sturgeon, Hawthorn Henry, and Linden Henry. He is also remembered by a wide circle of family and friends.

 A visitation will take place from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Meadows Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow immediately after, in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home, with Mr. Matt Alexander officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to a local addiction recovery or mental health organization in his name.
