OBITUARY

Dennis Alan Yearta, age 71, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 surrounded by the love and support of his family. Mr. Yearta was born on October 17, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia to the parents of the late Buddy Floyd Yearta and the late Norma June Robinson.  Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Doug Ladzinski and Scott Davis. 

Mr. Yearta leaves behind his loving wife, Elizabeth Kay Edwards; daughters, Kristina Stewart, Brandi Baxter (Tracy), Stephanie Sheard, Megan Yearta, Stacey Heltzer; sons, Troy Yearta (Felicia), DJ Yearta (Ashely), Wesley McElroy, Travis Maddox; brothers, Anthony “Butch” Robinson, Todd Robinson, Jace Robinson, Andrew Gum, Matthew Gum; twenty-six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; fifteen nieces and nephews.   

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home.  The family will welcome friends at the end of the memorial service to share in good memories about Dennis.
