OBITUARY

Jesse George Powers, age 86 of Social Circle, passed away on October 28, 2025.  He was born on February 24, 1939 to the late James Elmer Powers and the late Stella Lucille Kirk Powers.

Surviving are wife, Odessa Messer Powers; daughter and son in law, Tawanna and Jack Gilbert; sons and daughters in law, Don and Peggy Marie Powers, Timothy Powers; sisters, Leila Rupe, Marjorie Haley, Mary Ellen Baker, and Stella Garland; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
