OBITUARY

Andrew Stewart Kelly, age 69, of Monroe, passed away at his home on September 13, 2025, surrounded by family after battling cancer for the past few years. 

Born on October 9, 1955, he was the son of the late John Stewart Kelly and the late Betty McKinley Kelly. He was also preceded in death by his wife, the late Jill Layne Kelly, and his brother, the late Keith Kelly. 

Andy was a devoted father who deeply loved and cared for his children and family. When his boys were young, he could often be found coaching their baseball teams. He also cherished his church family and the fellowship he found there, always faithful and caring to those around him. 

He is survived by his sons: Chris Kelly (Rebecca Fleenor) and Jason Kelly (Katherine). 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Meadows Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Harmony Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Storms officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
