OBITUARY

Joshua William Clay, 35, passed away August 28, 2025 after a long battle of cancer. He was surrounded by family at the time of his death.

He was born on February 26, 1990, on the sidewalk outside Rockdale County Hospital to Robert and Carmen Clay. He has brought Love and Joy to their hearts ever since.

He loved being in the water fishing and swimming, riding his Harley, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He followed in his Grandpa, Bill Grace, Jr's footsteps and became a mechanic. He will be remembered for his huge heart and his intoxicating laughter.

Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal Grandpa, William "Bill" Ivo Grace, Jr.; his paternal Papa and Gannie, Bobby and Joy Clay and his Father-in-Law, Robert Silvers.

A visitation will be held at Meadows Funeral Home on the evening of Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home the following day, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 1:00pm, with Reverend Carol Bratcher officiating. Serving pallbearers will be: Andrew Clay, Jerry Clay, Casey Hamilton, Derrick Denomme, Matt Collins, Robbie Clay, Joseph Clay, Mitchell York, Jacob Clay, Mikey Clay, and Nathan Harvey.
