OBITUARY
Charlotte Elaine Meadows Edmondson, age 88 of Good Hope, passed away on June 24, 2025. She was born in Walton County on July 13, 1936 to the late Jimmie Long Malcom Meadows and the late William Wayne Meadows. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert Charles Edmondson; and her sons, the late Mike Edmondson, the late Lynn Edmondson, and the late Charles Edmondson.
Charlotte was a farmer’s daughter that grew up and lived in Good Hope. She was the definition of what homemade meant. Sharing all that she knew and all that she had. There wasn't anything she couldn't make with her two hands. She loved cooking, baking canning, planting, growing, sewing, and crocheting over the years. She became a loyal woman of great faith that helped in her local church and help her community as a Walton County school bus driver, where she retired. She loved to travel, laugh and fish. But most importantly, she loved to Farm. She raised up her family on the same land where her father, Wayne Meadows, started nearly 100 years ago. She leaves behind a family that will continue to farm on that same land. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are sons and daughters in law, Eugene and Sara Lee Edmondson, Millie Edmondson; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 27th at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Don Malcom officiating. There will be a visitation on Thursday June 26th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and a second visitation on Friday June 27th from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM both at Meadows Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Good Hope Christian Church Cemetery. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
