OBITUARY

Lamar Lee Chandler, age 78, of Covington passed away on June 2, 2025. He was born on March 14, 1947 to the late Arthur Lee Chandler and the late Myrtle Viola Adams Chandler. He was preceded in death by his sisters: the late Clara Born, the late Joyce Knowles, the late Ruth Mason, the late Sarah Lovering; brother: the late Bobby Lee Chandler; granddaughter: the late Katherine Parks Pete. 

Surviving are wife: Kathy Chandler; daughters: Ronda Parks (Rick), Angie Chandler-Jordan (John), Shannon Smith; grandchildren: Jason Parks, Rachael Parks Cooper, Steven Chandler, Brittany Kitchings, Savannah Jordan, Gavin Jordan, Alexandria Mote, Chandler Ramsey, Grace Smith, Emma Smith; great grandchildren: Hannah Parks, Tucker Parks, Jason Parks, Jr., Jennifer Parks, Braden Cooper, Noah Pete, Zachary Kitchings, Finley Kitchings, Nora Kate Autry, Charlotte Mote, Callum Ramsey; sister, Pamela Chandler McLemore. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Meadows Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Segars officiating.
