OBITUARY

Jimmie Ann Sorrells Adcock, age 93 of Monroe, passed away on May 8, 2025.  She was born on January 25, 1932 to the late Arve Aycock Sorrells and the late Richard Byron Sorrells.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Richard Edwin Adcock

Surviving are sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Beth Adcock, Richard and Kathy Adcock; grandchildren: Maury and Sonja Adcock, Steven and Casey Adcock, Nick and Kayla Adcock, Josh and Jade Adcock, Jesica and Matthew Chancey; Great Grandchildren: Knox Adcock, Liz Adcock, Will Chancey, Walker Chancey, Madeline Chancey, Charlie Adcock, Callie Adcock, Walter Adcock, McKensie Raffield and Kayleigh Harbert.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 12th at 2:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Brant Callaway and the Rev. Billy Storms officiating.  Interment will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at Harmony Baptist Church on Monday May 12th from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
