OBITUARY

Julie Malcom Sargent, age 52 of Monroe, passed away on December 18, 2024.  She was born on January 29, 1972 to the late Thomas Emory Malcom and Linda Thompson Malcom.  She was preceded in death by her brother, the late Jeff Malcom.

Surviving are husband, Bart Sargent; daughter, Katherine Sargent; son, Kolton Sargent; mother, Linda Thompson Malcom; sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Kenneth Ferguson.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday December 29th at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church Monroe with the Dr. Todd Ware officiating.  There will be a visitation on Saturday December 28th at Meadows Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  In lieu of flower please make contributions to the Boy Scout Troop 705 (500 Breedlove Drive, Monroe, GA) or First Baptist Monroe Youth and Children's Ministry. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
