OBITUARY

Dorothy Autry Piper, age 90, passed away on October 16, 2024. She was born in Walton County, Georgia on October 18, 1933 to the late Nellie Ruth Holder Autry and the late Hardy Hurst Autry. She was preceded in death by her husband: the late Joe Brown Piper, Jr. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are son: Joe Brown Piper, III (Pam); daughter: Kay Young (Tom); sisters: Martha Marks (Harold), Patsy Chevalier; grandchildren: Jason Young (Erin), Joseph Young, Laura Kay Young (Joey), Joe Piper, IV, Bobby Piper (Tasha); 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am at Meadows Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm at Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church with Brother Bryce Lowrance and Jason Young officiating.
