OBITUARY

Sylvia Mooney Sylvia Mooney, age 67 of Jersey, went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2010. She was born in Monroe on November 23, 1942 to the late Florine Gunn Guinn and the late Thomas Leonard Guinn. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Mooney of Jersey; daughters and son-in-law, Melinda and Mark Hulsey of Covington, Lisa Manders of Loganville, and Melody Sorrells of Walnut Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Tonya Mooney of Jersey; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Marylin Guinn of Monroe; and grandchildren, Dayne Owens, Austin Manders, Hannah Manders, Kelsey Hulsey, and Jackson Mooney. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:30 P.M. at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Vester Maughon officiating.
