OBITUARY

Gary Sargent, age 59 of Monroe, died on February 14, 2010. He was born in Monroe on July 20, 1950 to Herman McDuffie Sargent and Annie Carter Sargent. He is survived by his wife, Bertie P. Sargent of Monroe; daughters and son-in-law, Ashley Sargent of Monroe, and Renee and Adam Fralick of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Andrea Sargent of Monroe; parents, Herman and Annie Sargent of Monroe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Linda Sargent of Monroe, and Kim and Martha Sargent of Commerce; and grandchildren, Chelsea Fralick, Emilee Fralick, Stella Sargent, Haven Fralick, and Ava Sargent. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Monroe Church of God with the Rev. Joey Grizzle and the Rev. Wayne Durden officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Cemetery. Those desiring may make donations to the Monroe Church of God, P.O. Box 1330, Monroe, GA 30655. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
