OBITUARY

JoAnn Frix Redmond, age 75 of Covington, passed away on August 8, 2023. JoAnn was born in Jasper County, Georgia on September 16, 1947 to the late Claudia Kathryn Elliot Knight and the late Otis Frix. Mrs. Redmond was preceded in death by her husbands, Raleigh Howard Brown, Sr., Jimmy Orain Redmond. Sr.; brother, John David Frix; step-brothers, Edward Marshall, George Marshall; step-farther, Thomas Marshall; great grandchildren, Tiffany, Brianna, Evan.

Surviving members of the family are, son and daughter-in-law, Raleigh and Maryanne Brown, Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Wendell DeFoor, Tracie and Craig McGilton, Alicia and Ruben Molina; sister, Maryann Duncan; step-sisters and step-brother-in-law, Joyce Adams, Nancy and Jerry Ferguson; grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Shannon, Wesley, Joanna, Justin, Ashley, Alyssa, Ty, Jenna, Samantha, Josh, Dillan, Ruben (Poncho), Ana; great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Austin, Wyatt, Jimmy Adaline, Clifford, Conner, James, Jackson, Jaren, Jr., Justin, Isacc, Chayanne, Tommy, Montana, Cody, Nicole, Justin, Ashlyn, Brooklyn, Zoey, Maddie, Colton, Trinity, Cassidy, Chase, Conner, Charlee; five great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Meadows Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm also at Meadows Funeral Home. The funeral service will at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home following the second visitation. Interment will follow at Queens Cemetery in Good Hope, Georgia.
