OBITUARY

Jack Treadwell, 79, of Monroe died on April 23, 2011. He was born on December 27, 1931 in Monroe, Ga to the late W.B. Treadwell and the late Annie Lou Doster Treadwell. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was married for almost fifty years to his wife, Joyce Treadwell. Surviving are wife: Joyce Treadwell of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law: Terry and Sandy Treadwell of Oxford; daughter and son-in-law: Laurie and Donny Seals of Monroe; brothers and sisters: William B. and Margie Treadwell of Conyers, Rosie Seabolt of Bethlehem, L.C. and Jocelyne Treadwell of Stone Mountain, Nancy and Ottis Casper of Monroe, Barbara and Marvin Cooper of Monroe, Frank and Sandra Treadwell of Lawrenceville, Becky and Jerry Baker of Waleska; grandchildren: Mandy and Robby Silvey of Conyers, Stephanie and Brian Wilson of Oxford, Brandy and Brandon Temples of Monroe, Amanda and Steve Parker of Monroe, Daniel Treadwell of Monroe, Kayla Seals of Savannah, Bryce Seals of Monroe; great grandchildren: Austin Silvey of Conyers, Bailey Nix of Monroe, Dalton Silvey of Conyers, Logan Broach of Monroe, Tyler Silvey of Conyers, Addilyn Parker of Monroe, Katie Wilson of Oxford. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 26th at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Reverend Marion Prather officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Cemetery.
