My mother was a a first class cook (as was her mother) and she was a huge Nathalie Dupree fan. If mother approved of a chef, I knew that person was worth following! We watched Nathalie Dupree's shows and avidly read her recipes. She was as revered by us as Paul Prudhomme, Justin Wilson, Edna Lewis and Julia Child. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and meals!

The hard work, commitment, intelligence, and creativity of Nathalie Dupree inspired so many. For all those who love her dearly, we pray that Jehovah God's promises will provide a measure of comfort and strength. (Rev 21:3,4)

I was so fortunate to get to know Nathalie as a fellow church member, and a friend.
She was always smiling, quick with a quip, and just fun to be around.
We were so lucky to have been invited over for breakfast just before they moved.
I had been hoping to get up to Raleigh to visit her, but she was gone too soon after my retirement.
She will never be forgotten! She was one in a billion!
I'm grateful that her cooking shows will keep her personality alive for those who didn't know her,
and her cookbooks assure her immortality in millions of kitchens the world over.
My deepest condolences to Jack, her family, and everyone who knew her, if only on their television,
and most especially her chickens.

My condolences to the family. When losing a loved one it can be unbearable. In the Bible book of Isaiah 25:8 Jehovah God promises soon to "swallow up death forever." He also promises to bring back those who have fallen asleep in death (Acts 24:15). In a little while longer this kind of pain will be a thing of the past (Revelations 21:4). May these scriptures bring you comfort in this difficult time (jw.org)

I was one of many who traveled downtown to Nathalie's Cooking School at Rich's on Saturday morning. She was gracious, kind and was positive with her correction of my onion chopping technique! I still prepare the recipes from those lessons and think of her. I first had her Chocolate Roulade at the antique shop/restaurant at The Hub and then she taught me how to make it at cooking school. What a joy to know her!
