Charles and I were classmates at NGHS and fortunately reconnected a couple years back.
I cannot remember ever seeing him without a smile on his face. The most memorable time was a few years ago when I bumped into him coming out of the hospital in Braselton. It had been sometime since I had seen him and was surprised when he told about just finishing a treatment. But, that did not affect that big smile one bit when we talked. Rest easy my old friend. God has you now.

Charles (Chuck) and I met while we worked together at WDMG in Douglas, GA back in 1976. We became fast friends and made a pact to become a radio "partnership." We made that happen at WRED in Monroe, GA and I have nothing but fond memories of Chuck. I moved to the West Coast in 1981 and we eventually fell out of touch. So sorry to learn of his passing. He was a good friend, an amazing "sidekick" and one of the nicest people I've ever known.
