OBITUARY

Wayne L Czechowski (1947-2025) 

 Wayne - husband, father, friend, entrepreneur, businessman, passed away June 23, 2025. 

Always a businessman he started and ran three glass companies of his own and held the position CEO of Vega Glass GA, Downey Glass CA, Sun Glass AZ and Harding Glass KS once he retired and located back to GA, he opened a successful cast glass company in Good Hope. 

He enjoyed designing and building homes, barns, decks, furniture or anything made with wood. He especially liked falling trees and band sawing them into lumber for those projects. 

Wayne was generous in helping family, friends and acquaintances in times of need. He was especially interested in starting college funds, trust funds and helping over twenty charities. His favorites being Smile Train, St Jude's, Atlanta Children's Hospital. 

He loved sports especially soccer, UGA Football and college basketball. 

Wayne served in the US Navy '64- ' 68. 

He will be greatly missed and always remembered. A huge lonely space has been left in our hearts. 

The family would like to thank Dr Cynthia Shepherd, Kimberly Pittman PA, the entire infusion lab nurses at United Cancer Blood Center in Athens for helping Wayne in this journey.
