OBITUARY

Mary Ann (Jones) Scott, 80 years of age, of Monroe, GA passed away on April 25, 2025. Mary was born on December 24, 1944 to the late Annis (Jones) Mitchell and the late James Corbin Jones, Sr. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, the late Henry David Scott.

Surviving members of the family are, daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Jerry Morrell, Angela Bartlett and fiance Frank Stephens, Dana and Marty Evans; grandchildren, Jennifer Whitaker, Matthew David Burns, Edward Daniel Miles Jr., Amanda Waldron, Amber Oliver, Christopher Bartlett, Heather Hayes, Timothy Morrell, Patricia Morrell; twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Daugherty; brothers and sister-in-law, James Jones, Jr., Robert and Linda Jones, Bobby Jones; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandra and Grady Huff, C.H., Jr. and Jaquelyn Scott; numerous nieces and nephews along with adoring fur grand-babies.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Heil officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA.
