OBITUARY

Kenneth Bruce Feilner, age 70 of Monroe, Georgia, passed away on March 19, 2025. Ken was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on November 10, 1954, to Harold Feilner and Dolores Meicke Feilner. 

Preceding Ken in death are his parents Harold and Dolores; his sister, Patricia Feilner Farah; his brothers in-law, Issa Farah and Salvatore Gallo. 

Surviving are wife, Abby Higginbotham Feilner; his brothers, Harold W. Feilner (Charlotte); his sisters, Diane Feilner Lowery (Ronald), Dolores Feilner Vitali, Judith Feilner Gallo; and many beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ken proudly served his country for 6 years as a young man in the United States Navy aboard the USS Damato.   Ken went on to work for the United States Postal Service, and retired after 35 years of Federal Service.

Ken was a kind soul with a soft spot in his heart for strays in distress.  He will be deeply missed by those who loved him until we all are re-united

A memorial service will be shared and held at a later date and time.   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a small donation be made to your local animal shelter, a cause that would make our Ken smile.
