OBITUARY

Barbara Judean (Nana) Barrett, age 88 of Monroe, passed away on March 1, 2025.  She was born on October 9, 1936 to the late Williard Levon Howard and the late Mary Frances Ireland Howard.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Williard Greene Barrett, Jr.

Surviving are, daughters, Carolynne Jean Prevatte and Judith B. Gordy; son, Bill Barrett (Jamie); sister, Dorothy Lampkin; brother, Albert Howard; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 5th at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Alexander officiating.  There will be a visitation on Wednesday March 5th at Meadows Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.   Meadows Funeral Home, Inc is in charge of arrangements.
