OBITUARY

Margaret (Chick) Shepherd, age 87, of Social Circle passed away on February 21, 2025. She was born on March 22, 1937 to the late Rosalie Courtenay James and the late Arthur Lee James. She was preceded in death by her husband: the late Donald Eugene Shepherd; brothers: the late Courtenay James, the late Charles James. 

Surviving are daughters: Kitty Carithers (Randy), Sandy Wyrick (Ken), Toni Ciccarello (Doug), Joni Allgood (Randy); son: Steve Shepherd (Dixie); sisters-in-law: Casilda James, Anne Peppers; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. 

A private graveside service will be held for family. 

The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the home of Chick Shepherd.
