OBITUARY

Allyson Renee Odum, age 50, died unexpectedly from heart failure on February 12, 2025. Born on June 29, 1974 in Athens, GA, Allyson grew up in Monroe, GA, where she attended George Walton Academy. Allyson graduated in the class of 1992 and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in business. 

Allyson is survived by her parents, Tommy and Martha Odum; sister and brother-in-law, Lindsay and Jimbo Bass; niece and nephews, Sarah Katherine, James, and William Bass.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm on Monday, February 17, 2025 in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church of Monroe, followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Reverend Todd Ware will officiate the service, and interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Monroe.
