OBITUARY

Gwendolyn Maxine Coffey, age 81, of Monroe passed away on February 9, 2025. She was born on July 22, 1943 to the late Zadee Carson and the late Raymond S. Carson. She was preceded in death by her husband: the late Joe Sam Coffey and the brother: the late Charles Carson. 

Surviving are daughter: Angie Cann (George); son: Joe Sam Coffey, Jr.; sister: Carol Crowder; grandchildren: Amanda Barlow (Matt), Mitchell Cann (Jenna), Sammy Cann (Jerica); great grandchildren: Seth, Beau Thomas, Scarlet, Ava, Sadie Grace, Hudson. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Meadows Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Reverend Matt Barlow officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington, Georgia.
