OBITUARY
Mary Adeline Hale passed on January 3, 2025. She was born on October 27, 1934, to the late Alton Malcom and Margret Christopher Malcom. Her husband, James (Jimmy) Thomas Hale, son-in-law, Cecil Dan Foster, and granddaughter, Tiffany Elizabeth Teague, preceded her in death.
Surviving members of the family are daughters, Elaine Hale Foster, Carol Hale Mislow, son-in-law Bobby Mislow, and daughter Lisa Hale Vandergrift; 10 grandchildren: Alex, Ginger, Micah, Thomas, Jim, Jessica, Joseph, Frank, Lauren, Delana, Brandon, and Haley Morgan. She was also blessed with 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
She graduated from Monroe High School and went on to marry her lifelong love, James Thomas Hale on August 3, 1957. Adeline and Jimmy raised their daughters in Bold Springs while operating a breeder egg operation until 1992. After their retirement, they helped watch their grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy after being a loving wife and mother. She and Jimmy were members of the Helping Hand Club, where they took great pride in the efforts to provide gifts at Christmas time for children and foods for the elderly at Thanksgiving. She was a member of Rock Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sorrells Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Monroe, Georgia.
