OBITUARY

Glenn Brown Smith, age 96 of Monroe, passed away on December 13, 2024.  He was born in Walton County on November 25, 1928 to the late Grady Smith and the late Pauline Brown Smith. 

Surviving are wife of 73 years, Sylvia Hester Smith; sons and daughters in law, David and Karen Smith, Linn Smith, Mark and Terri Smith; grandchildren, Melissa and Rob Edgerton, Erin Smith, Courtney and Jake Lord, Benjamin Smith, Leah and Matt Robinson, Angela and Randy Dover, Mark and Caitlin Smith, Jr., Arica and Dustin Unser; great grandchildren, Ava Edgerton, Gwen Edgerton, Myles Edgerton, Neela Cox, Jack Lord, Cora Lord, Cannon Lord, Bryson Dover, Savannah Dover, Ella Dover, Bannon Smith, Redding Smith, Rowen Unser, Rylee Unser, Beck Robinson, and Gemma Robinson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 17th at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Carrol officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Chapel Church Cemetery.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
