OBITUARY

Michael Brandon Talbird, Jr, age 41 of Monroe, passed away on October 20, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 27, 1983 to Leta Peppers Talbird and Michael Brandon Talbird, Sr.

Surviving are wife, Alicia Carter Talbird; son, Michael Brandon (Tripp) Talbird, III; mother and father, Leta Peppers Talbird and Michael Brandon Talbird, Sr.; sisters in law, Brittany Carter and Caressa Nee.

Brandon served as a Firefighter for Walton County Fire Rescue and was passionate about his work serving his community and providing training and education for new firefighters and EMTs. He was known for his leadership, courage and unwavering commitment. He was also a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at the Georgia College and State University Chapter. He's a Master Mason belonging to Generous Warren Lodge #20 of Monroe.

Brandon was deeply dedicated to his family, always remaining devoted to his parents. He was steadfast in his love for Alicia when they began dating in 2008 and were eventually married in 2016. His pride and joy was his son, Tripp. He loved Tripp fiercely and got immense joy out of coaching Tripp's soccer team and watching Tripp grow in to a kind, funny, and loving child.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 26th at the 1025 Church at 11:00 AM with Chaplin David Yates officiating.
