OBITUARY

Mr. James (Jimmy) Williams Harris, Jr., age 77, of Monroe passed away on September 13, 2024. He was born on December 11, 1946 to the late Sarah Kate Morris Harris and the late Jimmy William Harris. He was preceded in death by his sister: the late Delores Sue Harris.

Surviving are wife: Joan Plunkett Harris; daughters: Jill Harkins (David), Jennifer Harris Gella, Margaret Harris; brother: Tom Harris; grandchildren: Kalani Gella, Daniel Harkins, Elikai Gella, Allie Harkins, Will Harkins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at First Baptist Church Monroe. Memorial services will immediate follow at First Baptist Church Monroe with Reverend Todd Ware officiating.
