OBITUARY

Mr. Johnny William Aldridge, Sr., age 76, of Good Hope passed away on July 4, 2024. He was born on June 28, 1948 to the late Alma Lucile Biship Aldridge and the late John Willie Aldridge, Sr. He was preceded in death by his daughter: the late Wanda Renee Malcom; sister: the late Dell Faulkner; brother: the late Jr Aldridge.

Surviving are wife: Kathy Aldridge; daughter: Jaime Marie Evans(John); son: Johnny Aldridge, Jr. (Joanna); sisters: Voncile Adams, Macy Lemmonds (Wayne), Jo Guthrie; brother: Henry Aldridge (Annette); grandchildren: Josie Osborn, Nikki Ashley, Hailey Aldridge, Franky Aldridge, Chloe Aldridge, Emmalee Aldridge and one great grandchild.

Anyone who knew popa would tell you, if Johnny liked you, he picked on you. He never made anything easy, because that would be no fun. He was stubborn and he was fiery, but he had the heart of a lion. He loved harder than any man I've ever known. He would be there for you anytime, for any reason. He would give the shirt off his back and the food off his plate to help his family or friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home.
