Obituary
Donna June Ariail, age 60, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday March 30, 2024 after battling metastatic breast cancer. Donna was born on October 23, 1963 to Edward Lester Ballew Jr. and June Carolyn Walters Ballew in Atlanta Georgia. Donna worked for the Barrow County School System, at Bethlehem Elementary school for many years. Then she moved on to work at American Pest Control, for 11 years doing Accounts Payable and Fleet Specialist. Donna met Danny in high school, in the 10th grade. They eventually married on June 16, 1984. Donna and Danny went on to have 1 daughter, Jessica. Donna is survived by, her loving husband of 40 years, Danny Ariail; Daughter and Son-in-law, Jessica and Cody Casey; parents, Eddie and Carolyn Ballew; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Pete Fearon; grandson, Jaxon Casey. Donna leaves behind a strong legacy, personally and professionally. She loved her family fiercely, and would do anything for them. She always made sure she did her best, in everything that she did, at work and at home. Donna had a huge heart and always wanted to help her friends and family, in any way that God blessed her to do so. Donna had a moral compass that guided her in every decision. Everyone that knew her, knew that and appreciated that about her. Donna was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed, until we see her again. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Peavy officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the funeral service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
