Harvey Franklin Farrant, age 94 of Snellville, went home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2023. Harvey was born October 17, 1928 to the late Franklin Farrant and Olive Buck Farrant. He was preceded by his brother, Hugh Farrant, sister-in-law, Helen Farrant and granddaughter, Karianne Elizabeth Bice. Harvey married Elizabeth Mary Campbell on July 9, 1949 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. The Farrant's would go on to live in Michigan, Florida and Georgia. Harvey was a carpenter up until he retired and loved working with wood. He was an avid watcher of hockey and baseball. He also loved doing jigsaw puzzles. Harvey is survived by his wife, Elizabeth(Betty) Farrant, son, Brad(Terry) Farrant and daughter, Colleen(Roger) Bice; grandchildren, Tim(Beckie) Farrant, Aaron(Jennie) Farrant, Lindsy(Dave) Banks and Karianne Elizabeth Bice(deceased); great-grandchildren, Issac Farrant, Kayla Farrant, Eli Farrant, Austin Farrant, Stone Banks and Mackenzie Banks. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00am. The service will take place at Westside Baptist Church in Snellville with Rev. Brad Farrant officiating.
